Along with the growing popularity of Japanese pop culture, the high-quality level, uniqueness (including “cuteness”), and user-friendliness, Japanese stationery is also realizing growth overseas. Now in its second decade of existence, Artemis is still growing and we are exerting our efforts to expand our overseas business.

Artemis' legacy began in 1990 when current CEO Toshishige Yoda decided to turn his passion into a business. With a relatively humble beginning, Artemis now produces and handles a wide range of products including organizational and other time management goods such as diaries, daily planners and journals, notebooks, calendars, stickers, pen cases, card cases, bookcovers, lunch boxes, bags, interior items, clothing items, and much much more.

Some of our more well-known lines include ELPH’s Circus, Fotocarne, Memo Planner, deli-pick-Mart shopping bags, T-pick-art T-shirts, arc-en-ciel, Papier, Pouchy Petit Pochi, Uncle Poncho, Artemis Professional, and many other Artemis originals.

To ensure that Artemis is ahead of the competition, our planning/strategy team is continuously researching the market and staying abreast of consumer trends which is constantly changing. To that end, our design team utilizes the information to turn ideas into finished products that are in line with what the market is demanding at the time.

With Artemis’ in-house overseas promotion department which was established in 2006, Artemis is actively promoting these products overseas. Starting with participation at the Paperworld event in Germany in January 2007 and the August 2007 New York International Gift Fair, we have began our sales overseas. Our goal is to be able to consistently provide our newest products to the overseas market.

While still at the start-line, Artemis is ready to further commit to our mission with regard to the overseas market - to allow as many people as possible outside of Japan to also have the opportunity to enjoy our products. We are planning to establish an office in the U.S. to improve the business overseas. Artemis is introducing new products and designs on a regular basis. Therefore, we are sure that there is a product and/or design that we have that will match your taste. Please join us in our mission and allow us to add a little more fun and style to your busy life.
